I just received this from Marty Harper: I talked to Trish Elliott today and her caregivers also. She is in serious condition under 24 hour a day hospice care at her home. Her COPD has her on oxygen and the prognosis gives her a few months to live (according to friends) . She can barely talk on the phone but I'm sure would love support from all of us. 3/27/08 As some of you may have heard, Tom Floyd passed away on Monday, March 24th. A service will be held on Sunday, March 30th at 11:00 AM. The arrangements for Dan Forceâ??s memorial service are: Sunday, May 4th at 4pm St. Andrewâ??s Presbyterian Church 301 Avenue D (at Pacific Coast Highway) Redondo Beach, CA 90277 There will be a reception to follow at the Kiwanisâ??s Hall in Hermosa Beach. Directions to the reception will be provided at the memorial service.

Subject: Another LAX Res Friend Gone Brian, I Just got this from John Barranti, Last Tuesday Chuck Weber died from complications of a heart condition. It was a large and kindly heart that reached out to many. Not much to add. I know he will be cremated and the rest to be added later. I thought that you would like to know. Another reminder of our own mortality and how trivial so many of our projects and interests are. In the the end it is those whom we love that really count. ... Take care and be well. Hugs, Terrie

One sad note: Rusty Kennedy passed away this past Tuesday. We have been unable to contact Alyce for any further information. Rusty and she traveled with Sybil and me to the very first one of these Christmas Bashes, when we sold out and had an overflow. He would appreciate these two announcements going out as one. :) An update from Jim:
